Extensive analysis was conducted of existing conditions of the Robert Moses Parkway. These existing conditions included the existing roadway for automobiles, the roadway converted over for pedestrian use, existing parks and over-looks, existing signage, condition of existing barriers along the gorge, existing neighborhood connection and potential new connection points. Design and Presentation drawing were presented to the Buffalo Niagara RIVERKEEPER illustrating these new neighborhood connections, new barrier styles, new signage and areas for signage, interpretive elements and locations, trail development, vegetation and habitat enhancement and alternative traffic patterns.
