The expansion of Perboyer Hall into a larger Academic Complex Building for the School of Business allowed for the design and development of a new entry court. The new entry court and access walkways are designed to blend with the existing circulation patterns of the campus, connecting existing academic buildings and sports facilities. Materials were selected to highlight the materials of the new building addition while complementing the historic materials of the existing Perboyer Hall and materials found throughout this historic campus. The entry court was designed to function for multiple purposes, including uninterrupted circulation access into and out of the building, gathering and seating space, and an area designed to accommodate outdoor class space for the Business School.

The design of the building expansion also allowed for the development of two green roofs, both with extensive areas along the roof edge and intensive areas designed with walkways and benches for pedestrian access. The plant material was selected to bloom at various times of the year for continuous color and visual interest.
